We would like to give a big 10 to Ms.Yvette, who from start to finish was there to answer any and every question we had. She was very prompt no matter the time of day, via email and phone. She really made the overall process tolerable.
Cornita's Tip: Once you get closer to closing, the coordination between the builder and the ability to have big ticket items completed in the home prior to closing would be great. No one wants to close on a home with significant outstanding issues. This part was a new experience for us and our realtor.

Working with Yvette Cortes was a such a pleasure from the first introduction to the last details. She expertly and quickly answered my questions clearly. I have a lot of questions! She had patience. She is straightforward. There are no surprises. She moved my application along the process to adept team members like Michelle, Bob, and Kelly. My interaction with the rest of the team was seamless. They are all on the same page! Towards the end, Michelle helped smooth the way to the finish line. What I appreciated most was followup from each one as needed. I wasn't left alone to wander and figure things out on my own. I also liked the short little videos and autoupdates to tell you the status of your loan. If you have the pleasure of working with this team consider yourself lucky. We closed on time even with a tight window to work with. I highly recommend them.

Easiest possible home buying experience, ever.
Let me just say, that I LOVED our home buying process. We were originally going to be using FBC in coordination with Southern Homes, but an appraisal issue derailed that home purchase. However, Yvette was SO incredibly helpful with assisting me in getting my credit in check, and attentive to all of my questions, that I opted to continue using FBC to purchase a home. Yvette, along with Christine Botto remained in constant email contact, were incredibly professional, and walked us through the process with ease. We closed on our new home on 2/12, over a year after our initial contact with FBC in the home buying process; and FBC made the long, agonizing wait way easier than we thought possible. I HIGHLY recommend using FBC, they truly made this home purchase easy.

Kelly Taylor and Yvette Cortes make up the best team I've ever seen. My husband and I are first-time-home buyers, and we were nervous, as we had heard horror stories about lenders. After a strong recommendation from my realtor, whom we trust deeply, we could not be happier with FBC Mortgage. Yvette was extremely quick in processing the information we provided her, but at the same time very patient when it came to questions, and boy did I have many! I'm one of those crazy people who read every single document and all of the fine print. But Yvette always assured me that she was happy I wanted to understand everything in the process, and was always timely in responding to me via email as well as calling me back if I missed her return call by phone. Yvette also made the entire process easy, and always let us know what would be the next step. Kelly was also very diligent, and saved us on our closing day with her quick thinking and knowledge of important resources. I cannot thank them enough, and will end up writing one of the longest thank you cards of my life.

Would do again...
Having been though 6 residential mortgage financing transactions, this one was one of the best. I was processing with my bank at the same time up until the point that it was time to pay for an appraisal. FBC was clearly competitive, so I decided to move forward with them. Communication was fantastic throughout the process and we closed a difficult loan in a timely fashion. I would definitely use FBC (and Yvette) again.

All I can say is Yvette and Bill worked beyond above and beyond in getting us our loan. We had some credit issues and even a forclosure in the past and Yvette always was just awsome. She was professional and courteous, and worked endlessly to get us our loan and we are in our house as we speak. Her partner Bill Siegrist was just as polished. I don't honestly know how either of them worked with any other clients because it seemed they were at our becon call every time we needed anything. Thank you both and feel free to send us anyone who needs a referral from you two. Your AWSOME!!
