1st time home buyer..
It was long process due to the builder, but worth the wait. There was a few last minute things that need to submit before closing, which should have been asked for way in advance. But overall it all worked out, and I closed on time. Lenardo was pretty knowledge and answered all my questions when needed. But I would say that his approach could be better when explaining things to future home buyers.

My experience was less than stellar. While Leonardo is very knowledgeable & informative and his “bedside manner” could improve. I always felt like I was a bother and it did make me not want to to ask questions. I would say remember this is the buyer 1st time, they are nervous, scared, and will have questions. Be friendly welcoming and inviting each encounter.

Best 1st Home Buyer Experience!
My husband and I had been trying for 6 years to purchase a home. We had a few bad lenders who failed us and as a result we lost money. When we decided to try again. We trusted our realtor to help us find a lender who wasn't about self, but for the customer. This is when we were put in touch with Leonardo. He was professional, he gave us tips to help us get to the finish line. The videos throughout the process was awesome. We felt in the loop, closing was flawless. Words cannot express my appreciation for the tireless work that Lenardo did in order to get my loan process to completion. Throughout the entire process he made sure to keep me updated and encouraged that the loan would be closed. It is the example and efforts of individuals like Lenardo that helps to give the mortgage industry and more specifically FBC mortgage a good name. I am eternally grateful for his help and how he fought on my behalf and did not make me feel like just another file on his desk. Thank you for all that did!! I was disappointed with the underwriting process, I thought that the Loan Officer Lenardo Mitchell and the Loan Processor Laura Anderson did a great job preparing me for what I needed to do in order to close the loan. Once in the hands of the underwriting department the process appeared to be taking place in a totally different company. The timeliness of the underwriters, requesting the same information more than once and the miscalculations of the finances forced me and my daughter to be displaced for an additional month, which put a damper on an otherwise tolerable process. I truly thank Lenardo and Laura for their support, encouragement and willingness to fight on my behalf in order to get the job done. They are truly the best!!
