Not a lender I want to work with
This was one of the most stressful lender I have ever had to work with. There always seemed to be a rush about answering questions in a concise way without getting any clarity to a situation or presenting any other options. Since our builder had an exclusive contract with jet home loans for the incentives (closing costs covered), customer service was taken for granted. If I tried to call to follow up and ask some clarifying questions, I got a feeling that I am wasting their time asking about somethings that may have been trivial to them. Lending should not be given such a bad re*****tion, but now I see how it could be.

Only beneficial for builder incentives
Amy and Amanda were very nice when I was able to contact them, but this lender is too busy to make you feel supported along the way. My closing was delayed because clear to close was not received until an hour before the scheduled close. In the beginning I had questions about what documents were requested and how to best provide what they needed and I could not get a hold of anyone for days at a time. I was calling, emailing, texting, and it was like I was invisible. I was very on top of every document requested, responding within hours of a request. That still was not enough. It seems as if this lender has too many loans to process and not enough people. I think if they had more time they’d be able to care more but they don’t.

From the get-go, Pam was amazing! We found our house on a Saturday evening and negotiated with the builder. We were given her name and number, and she answered on a Saturday night and started the loan process with me right then. She is very responsive on all of my questions even the ones that she had nothing to do with and would guide me to the right person. I would text her at all times of the day even after hours and she always responded almost immediately. Jet loans makes the process very easy. Their app and portal lays everything out for you easy to upload and get them everything they need. Amanda was also very great to work with to get our loan funded and closed!

I believe the team had our best interest at heart and although we presented with a lot of obstacles, I believe the team did thier best to help us over ever hurtle.

Room for Improvement
Communication and transparency were great at first but as the process continued and we were closer to closing, that decreased. It took us multiple attempts to get answers and information and throughout the process our realtor team was consistently left out of communications. We were very happy with our loan just wished the communication was more consistent and timely.
