Not a great experience
Read everything that is sent to you. Don’t say “lock the rate” even over the phone unless you’re 100% ready. They take a phone conversation about current rates as your lock rate request. Nothing in writing, nothing to review and think about…you’re locked in. Period. I found rates much lower at other institutions. I finally got him to ask approval for less points. Loan disclosure took 5 attempts and corrections. Review closely! At closing, the title agency was less than desirable. We had to walk through 3 employees standing at the front door smoking. Rude and disrespectful. I have asthma and was not happy about this.
Jack's Tip: Read and double check everything. Several errors found loan app, loan disclosure and closing docs.
